(technically Friday the 27th I think)

We filmed this last summer in an unbelievably hot warehouse
with our friends Hott Garbage
and many extras who were also quite hot by the end
and it was so hot
that the film melted
and it took nearly a year to restore to it’s original glory
but here it finally is

since you haven’t really heard much of a peep out of us lately i thought i would write a little update.

as detailed by our dear mister thomson in THIS HERE BLOG POST,
he is off on an Sizable Adventure in France.
i have it on Good Authority (matt)
that all is going well and he is having a Great Time.

the remaining four of us are carrying on, taking some time for revamping and junk.
we have a few shows booked for this summer here and there, perhaps some more to be announced.

hmmm… other things.
we’re doing a bit of writing for the next album.
the music video hott garbage did for “safe for the time being” will be debuting soon on the Good Old Boob Tube on some show on some channel. more on that later.
the fine folks at dovecote records have been compiling some olly oxen free remixes and stuff.

i’ve been finishing up a few more old bug lung baby songs for another solo ep which will come out when i’m good and ready.
my good friend adam netsky and i made a bug lung baby music video for “paper crane” that will emerge at some point too.

so uncertain about so many details, eh?

we had a mad time at sxsw this year.

WARNING: thank you overload to follow.

big big big thanks to every single person who came out to the shows (especially those from michigan[!]) and made us feel like we are spending our lives doing worthwhile things.

still more thanks to hot freaks, pirate, tangled snark, and homeslice pizza for having us at their stellar parties, and texas music cafe for the fun time in waco.

special thanks to darryl, luis, elizabeth, and everyone else who planted themselves prominently in the front of the shows and sang along.

sorry to anybody who came out to the parlor saturday night to see us (because we ended up not being able to do it)… we had to cancel a few hours before for reasons beyond our control, and had no way to get the word out to you.

thanks to everyone at dovecote, and carter in particular, for making it all possible.

thanks to shivvy and heggie for the brain warpage.

thanks to wefuse for the fantastic food and personality that brought us back again and again.

thanks to shannon and my lucky stars for creating a scenario in which i met one of my favorite musicians of all time and made him laugh.

We know, we know. We never, or rarely, come to your town. Teleportation technology just hasn’t arrived yet, so all you inventors, get inventing.
